I made cupcakes today... but I didn't need 2.5 dozen... so I gave some away in these pretty containters I made out of cardstock, wax paper and twine.

So my dad has been working on this huge jar of pennies since before I was born. Just about 24 years. It's amazing how full it is, it's amazing how heavy it is.

So after spending a few days at my parents I came home and I have some crocus just coming up. This makes me very happy. 

I like seeing new growth in something when the rest of my life seems to be falling apart.

So I'm a gamer... believe it or not. I designed these shirts for some of my friends for Christmas presents. O' and of course I had to make one for myself.

Home again, home again... Jiggity jig.

Once again I'm home, so that means that Tibby is my main subject. Isn't she the cutest. I know she is, total rhetorical question. Here she is about 4 months old, and has me wrapped around that little paw.

This is just about how I feel right now. Attempting to be bright and colorful but ever so sad inside. 

Life is never as it seems. But somehow there must be a bright side... i'm just holding on with all my might to find that bright side. For now, I'll eat my bright and colorful sad faces.
