the amazing kids I babysit.

So basically, the kids I babysit for are adorable. You've got K, is a smart, pretty little girl, who is just starting to figure out who she is, and always has a story to tell. Then R, who is a cutie and draws me pretty pictures. Last, but not least is T, and well, he is all boy, but then, who wouldn't love dump trucks and digging in the dirt?

They keep me smiling and are always entertaining. Right now, they are teaching me so much about who I am, more then so many other things I've ever done, or people I've been around. This is one AMAZING family, one that I am very privileged to have my small hand in.

never too old for bubbles...

I am a firm believer that you never really grow out of things. Bubbles, kites, glow sticks, bike rides. I don't see a reason to cut them out of my life, and will find any excuse to enjoy them with friends.

Yesterday, was a BEAUTIFUL day! One of our first and Sara and I had ourselves an adventure! (complete with bubbles!)

The water was a little cold, but we weren't hoping for a dip anyway. 

We may be a bit out there, but we are not that crazy!

This may just be the first picture of Sara and I together.

Thank goodness for my camera timer! Too bad the wind wouldn't cooperate...

Sara needs a few lessons on my camera... but we'll work on it. 

I think that Sara is making fun of me in this one... but I'll let it slide... this time.

The wind, and my hair, are not friends.

I found this great bag at Salvation Army. 

It's so simple. 

I've tried to find out anything about the designer, with no success. Strange. All I could find out was that it's a Brazilian designer.  

I guess all I can say is that it was a good deal for $1.99

I love second hand stores.

One thing that makes the seasons so interesting is that you see things differently. There are always so many interesting things to see.

And the best part is that you never know where you will find it. 

Things just look different. 

The light is different.

The color is different.

Always an adventure.

MOMA

So there is a really cool fountain between where Mark lives and the subway. I had some fun taking pictures of it. 

Water is always interesting to photograph. It looks so magical when you catch it just right. 

 The trees in NYC haven't quite turned yet. So strange compared to what everything looks like upstate. 

MOMA is always a fun place to check out. You're never quite sure what you are going to find. 

This adventure had a few interesting finds. 

I always love the sculpture garden. With some old favorites and some new interesting finds.

There was such a cool exhibit up. Well, cool to look at. Mark and I both decided that the actual experiences of the exhibit fell a little flat. The way the fabric hung was very interesting and gave the ability for some interesting pictures.

Sometimes modern art is just weird...

I love the texture on this piece.  

I love these, they look like really really cool candle holders.  

I love the layers and the construction of these. So simple. So beautiful. 

Funny story, when I was taking pictures of these another girl came up with the same camera and gave me a look of 'my pictures will so be better then yours'. Hahah. O brother. 

Let's just put it this way. I had a better lens then she had, and was on the "brighter" side of the exhibit. I'm sure her pictures turned out wonderfully, just as mine did. But I don't feel that her look was necessary. And just for the record, Mark also saw the look, so it wasn't just me miss interpreting. 

Mirrors are so fun. 

So are neon lights.

MOMA is always a great adventure. You never know what you will see.
